Financial surveys on listed Italian companies. In 1976 these were combined to form the R&S Annual Directory

First edition published as a development of the "Notices". The directory covers all leading Italian companies, including unlisted businesses. The financial information is always given in group form. By 1979, the Directory contained over 2,800 pages and was published in two volumes. In 1988, the number of pages rose to more than 3,800 necessitating three volumes. The most recent edition covers 182 groups and consists of three volumes totalling some 4,300 pages

The survey was extended to include the world's top telecoms companies

R&S was commissioned by the Italian Parliamentary Budget Commission to produce a survey on privatisations in Italy since 1992, in connection with its enquiry on the challenge of the euro and economic globalisation. The survey was presented at a hearing on 10 October 2001.

The R&S entries are placed on a website and updated on an ongoing basis for round-the-clock consultation

This is the second edition of this survey, produced in conjunction with Unioncamere. There are two new reports, the first covering businesses in North-Eastern Italy, the second the rest of Italy excluding the North West. The publication will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce of Florence on 9 May, that of Modena on 30 May, and that of Macerata on 27 June 2003
